Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 21 July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and participation in all retreats, workshops, and events provided by Be.Human.Natural. AB ("we", "us", "our") at our premises in Borgvattnet, Sweden, or any other location. By booking an event through our website (behumannatural.com) or via email, you ("the participant", "you") agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to book a retreat independently.
  • Securing a Spot: A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or full payment and send a booking confirmation email.
  • Payment Terms: If a deposit is paid to secure your place, the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Retreats require extensive advance planning and logistical costs. Therefore, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing at behumannatural@gmail.com.

Time of Cancellation Refund Amount
More than 60 days before the retreat 100% refund (minus a €50 administration fee)
31–60 days before the retreat 50% refund of the total retreat cost
30 days or fewer before the retreat No refund
Leaving a retreat early No refund

Cancellations by Us: If Be.Human.Natural. AB cancels a retreat due to instructor illness or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to us. We are not responsible for external costs such as flights, visas, or accommodation booked independently.

4. Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk

Our retreats include activities such as the Wim Hof Method (ice bathing and breathwork), outdoor hiking, and foraging in remote environments. These activities involve inherent physical and mental risks.

  • Not Medical Advice: The practices taught by Alexander Pohl and guest instructors are for educational and self-improvement purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Participant Responsibility: You are responsible for consulting your physician before participating, especially if you have cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or are pregnant.
  • Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to prevent participation in any activity if we believe it may endanger your health or the safety of other participants.

5. Itinerary Changes and Force Majeure

Nature determines many aspects of our retreats. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary, activities, accommodation, or meals due to weather conditions, seasonal availability, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure). Whenever possible, suitable alternatives will be provided.

6. Participant Conduct

To maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment, we reserve the right to remove any participant without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, abusive, illegal, or poses a risk to themselves or others.

7. Photography and Media

Photographs and videos may be taken during retreats for promotional purposes on our website and social media platforms, including Instagram.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before your retreat begins. We will respect your privacy and make reasonable efforts to avoid capturing your image.

8. Liability Waiver

By participating in our retreats, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved and agree to release Be.Human.Natural. AB, Alexander Pohl, employees, and guest instructors from liability for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss except where caused by our gross negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Note: All participants will be required to sign a separate medical waiver and participation agreement upon arrival.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in our retreats shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
